Digital Converter to 4 Bit Analogue Circuit Project

Image
The operation of the converter is based on the weighted adding and transferring of the analogue input levels and the digital output levels. It consists of comparators and resistors. In theory, the number of bits is unlimited, but each bit needs a comparator and several coupling resistors. The diagram shows a 4-bit version. The value of the resistors must meet the following criteria: R1:R2 = 1:2; R3:R4:R5 = 1:2:4; R6:R7:R8:R9 = 1:2:4:8. The linearity of the converter depends on the degree of precision of the value of the resistors with respect to the resolution of the converter, and on the accuracy of the threshold voltage of the comparators. This threshold level must be equal, or nearly so, to half the supply voltage. Moreover, the comparators must have as low an output resistance as possible and as high an input resistance with respect to the load resistors as feasible. Any deviation from these requirements affects the linearity of the converter adversely. Digital Converter to 4-Bit ...

4 x 35 Watt car audio amplifier

Image
General Description: The AN7560Z is an audio power IC developed as the sound output of car audio (35 W by 4-ch.). A capacitor and resisitor to stop oscillation are built in between the output pin and GND so that a space saving of set is possible. Also, it incorporates a perfect muting circuit with out shock noise so that a shock noise design under the set transient condition can be made easily when used together with its standby function. In addition, it incorporates various protection circuits to protect the IC from destruction by GND-open-shortcircuit to ground and power supply surge which are the important subject of power IC protection. This IC will largely contribute to a high reliability design of the equipment. Circuit Diagram: 4 x 35 Watt car audio amplifier Datasheet for AN7560:  Download

4 20 mA current signal in Instrumentation

Image
The 4 - 20 mA signal is an extremely popular signal specification in instruments. The 4 to 20 mA signal provides "live zero" function. i.e. in the event of a wire break, the signal drops to zero mA. This can be used to detect wire break or sensor failure. This is a crucial advantage of the 4 to 20 mA format. Being a Current signal, it is also less susceptible to external interference. The 4 to 20 mA format works by varying the resistance to a constant source voltage. The sensor consists of a transistor which regulates the current passing through it in accordance with the measured value. Sensors which use this format can be categorized into active and passive transducers. Active transducers are devices which can provide the system voltage as well as regulate the current. Passive devices require an external voltage and only regulate the current. Another advantage of this 4 to 20 mA format is that it can be easily converted into a voltage signal by means of a res...

1 4 wavelength Active Antenna Circuit Diagram

Circuit Diagram Description Antennas are much shorter than quarter wavelength impedance obtained is very small and highly dependent on the frequency. It was a difficult game impedances over a decade of frequency coverage. Instead, the phase of the input source-follower FET Q1. A high impedance input successfully bridges Antenna characteristics at any frequency.   transistor Q2 is used as a follower, to provide a high impedance load for Q1, but more importantly that it makes to drive low-impedance amplifier coupled to commonly Q3, which each receive a voltage amplifier. Q3 Q4 turns transistor output impedance is relatively low in impedance, which is enough to drive 50 Three dimensional receiver, Antenna input impedance. Build a 4 Transistor FM Transmitter Circuit Diagram

Image
4 Transistor FM Transmitter Circuit Diagram   Build a  4 Transistor FM Transmitter Circuit Diagram. This 4 Transistor FM Transmitter Circuit Diagram provides an FM modulated signal with an output power of around 500mW. The input microphone pre-amp is built around a couple of 2N3904 transistors (Q1/Q2), and audio gain is limited by the 5k preset trim potentiometer.  The oscillator is a colpitt stage, frequency of oscillation governed by the tank circuit made from two 5pF ceramic capacitors and the L2 inductor. The output stage operates as a 'Class D' amplifier, no direct bias is applied but the RF signal developed across the 3.9uH inductor is sufficient to drive this stage. The emitter resistor and 1k base resistor prevent instability and thermal runaway in this stage.
