Simple 3 Volts FM Transmitter Schematic

Image
This is a simple and useful circuit diagram of an FM transmitter is sown in this schematic . This FM Transmitter software is very simple and it has a acceptable transmission . The signal transited from this FM transmitter can be received at almost 300 meters in open air The circuit require a 3volts operating voltage and can be tuned anywhere in the FM band. 3V FM Transmitter Circuit Diagram You can use this emitter circuit to transmit signal from your house to garden or from room to room . To listen the signal you can use any radio (portable or not ) that can work on FM band . Connect a half or quarter wavelength antenna (length of wire) to the aerial point. At an FM frequency of 100 MHz these lengths are 150 cm and 75 cm respectively. The calibration of this FM emitter circuit is very simple and you need just to place a radio at some distance from the transmitter and set it somewhere about 88-107MHZ( chose the transmission frequency ) and after that vary the transmitter oscillator fre...

Auto Alarm Schematic

Image
In operation, the alarm circuit allows a 0 - 47 second time delay, as determined by the R1 /C1 combination, after the switch is armed to allow the vehicle's motion sensor to settle down. This allows you time to get a bag of groceries out of the trunk and not have the hassle of juggling the groceries and the key switch at once. During the time delay, half of LED1, which is actually a single, bi-colored, three-legged common cathode device, lights green. At the same time, pins 8 and 4 of U2 (a 555 oscillator/timer) are held low by Ul (a 3905 oscillator/timer), causing the alarm to remain silent. Once the delay is over, LED1 turns red, indicating that the circuit is armed. Auto Alarm Schematic Circuit Diagram At that point, a ground at pin 2 of U2 forces pin 3 of U2 high, closing the contacts of Kl and sounding the siren for a time duration determined by R4 and C2. Once the time has elapsed, pin 3 is pulled low, Kl opens, and the circuit is again ready to go. The circuit can be manuall...

Decibel Meter Circuit Schematic Diagram

Image
Description The circuit below responds to sound pressure levels from about 60 to 70 dB. The sound is picked up by an 8 ohm speaker, amplified by a transistor stage and one LM324 op-amp section. You can also use a dynamic microphone but I found the speaker was more sensitive. The remaining 3 sections of the LM324 quad op-amp are used as voltage comparators and drive 3 indicator LEDs or incandescents which are spaced about 3dB apart. An additional transistor is needed for incandescent lights as shown with the lower lamp. I used 12 volt, 50mA lamps. Each light represents about a 3dB change in sound level so that when all 3 lights are on, the sound level is about 4 times greater than the level needed to light one lamp. The sensitivity can be adjusted with the 500K pot so that one lamp comes on with a reference sound level. The other two lamps will then indicate about a 2X and 4X increase in volume. In operation, with no input, the DC voltage at pins 1,2 and 3 of the op-amp will be about 4 ...

The 555 DC to AC Inverter Schematic

Image
This DC-to-AC inverter schematic produces an AC output at line frequency and voltage. The 555 is configured as a low-frequency oscillator, tunable over the frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz by Frequency potentiometer R4.  The 555 DC-to-AC Inverter Schematic The 555 feeds its output (amplified by Q1 and Q2) to the input of transformer T1, a reverse-connected filament transformer with the necessary step-up turns ratio. Capacitor C4 and coil L1 filter the input to T1, assuring that it is effectively a sine wave. Adjust the value of T1 to your voltage. Error fix: Pin 7 and 2 were reversed. Original pinout was correct. Parts List: R1 = 10K R2 = 100K R3 = 100 ohm R4 = 50K potmeter, Linear C1,C2 = 0.1uF  C3 = 0.01uF C4 = 2700uF Q1 = TIP41A, NPN, or equivalent transistor Q2 = TIP42A, PNP, or equivalent transistor  L1 = 1uH T1 = Filament transformer, your choice The output (in watts) is up to you by selecting different components. Midnight Security Light Circuit Schematic

Image
Most thefts happen after midnight hours when people enter the second phase of sleep called ‘paradoxical’ sleep. Here is an energy-saving circuit that causes the thieves to abort the theft attempt by lighting up the possible sites of intrusion (such as kitchen or backyard of your house) at around 1:00 am. It automatically resets in the morning. The circuit is fully automatic and uses a CMOS IC CD 4060 to get the desired time delay. Light-dependent resistor LDR1 controls reset pin 12 of IC1 for its automatic action. During day time, the low resistance of LDR1 makes pin 12 of IC1 ‘high,’ so it doesn’t oscillate. After sunset, the high resistance of LDR1 makes pin 12 of IC1 ‘low’ and it starts oscillating, which is indicated by the fashing of LED2 connected to pin 7 of IC1. The values of oscillator components (resistors R1 and R2 and capacitor C4) are chosen such that output pin 3 of IC1 goes ‘high’ after seven hours, i.e., around 1 am. This high output drives triac 1 (BT136) through D5 an...

USB Switch Schematic Circuit

Image
Anyone experimenting or developing USB ported peripheral hardware soon be comes irritated by the need to disconnect and connect the plug  in order to reestablish communication with the PC. This process is necessary for example each time the peripheral equipment is reset or a new version of the firmware is installed. As well as tiresome it eventually leads to excessive contact wear in the USB connector. The answer is to build this electronic isolator which disconnects the peripheral device at the touch of a button. This is guaranteed to reduce any physical wear and tear and restore calm once again to the workplace. Circuit image :   USB Switch Schematic Circuit Image The circuit uses a quad analogue switch type 74HC4066. Two of the switches in the package are used to isolate the data path. The remaining two are used in a classic bistable flip-flop configuration which is normally built using transistors. A power MOSFET switches the power supply current to the USB device.  Capacitor ...

Guards Amplifier Outputs Against Over voltage Schematic

Image
A universal requirement for automotive electronics is that any device with direct connections to the wiring harness must be able to withstand shorts to the battery voltage. Though brutal, this requirement is necessary for reliability and for safety. One example of the need for this protection is an audio amplifier that produces indicator noises in the automotive interior. Though operating from a voltage of 3.3 or 5V, which is lower than the battery voltage, the amplifier must be able to stand off the full battery voltage. You can also use a protection network appropriate for these amplifiers for other automotive circuits (Figure 1). A dual N-channel MOSFET disconnects the amplifier’s outputs from the wiring harness in response to a high-voltage condition on either output. The MOSFETs, Q1A and Q1B, are normally on; zener diode D4 and its bias components drive the MOSFETs’ gates to approximately 11V. Dual diode D3 provides a diode-OR connection to the dc voltage on each output, thereby p...

Simple Smoggy Circuit Schematic

Image
Even if your good old (Sony) Walkman  sees little use nowadays it would be a  shame to get rid of it altogether. The more  so when just removing the tape head  would allow the built-in audio amplifier  to become an outstanding electrosmog  detector for a variety of purposes. Looking at the schematic, readers with RF  experience will have no difficulty in recognising the diodes and coils of the two  detector-receivers, which serve to capture and demodulate RF signals. With its  coil of four turns (L2) one receiver covers the higher frequency range of the  electromagnetic waves, whilst the sec-ond detector takes care of the lower frequency range. Circuit diagram : Simple Smoggy Circuit Diagram For this reason a coil with a  greater number of turns is required: L1 is  an RF choke of about 250 µH. The precise  value is not critical and it could equally be  220 µH or 330 µH. The outputs of both detector-receivers  are connected to the cables disconnected  previously from the tape heads...
