Great Brands for Good Prices on Auto Sound Systems

If you are one of the many people across the country considering a new auto sound system, there is a great deal of good news. First of all, it is very possible to find a good bargain on a nice sound system for your car, truck, or SUV if you are willing to shop online and install the system yourself. The problem often lies not in the cost of the system but the price of the installation. However, the cost of installation is well worth the dollar amount for many of us who really have no clue what to do as far as a project of that scope goes. I for one am among the electronically challenged and not really willing to risk my dash board for an experiment in frustration and failed electronics. That being said, there are many who are either perfectly and wonderfully capable of installing a nice auto sound system or are fortunate enough to know someone or someone who knows someone who is. Gaining Up, finding a great bargain online is probably the best way to go-provided you've actually been...

Viber hits 100 million users partners with Nokia on WP7

Image
The company announced today that it now has 100 million worldwide users taking advantage of its free phone calls, texting, and photo-messaging services. It's not clear if those users are actively using the service or have just signed up. Still, the company claims to handle over 2 billion minutes of calls and 6 billion messages every month. An average of 10 million calls are placed each day.  Viber has established itself as a true competitor to Skype, the popular VoIP service now owned by Microsoft. Viber works across iOS, Android, and a host of other mobile platforms, and allows users to communicate with others for free. In addition to announcing its milestone, Viber said today that it has launched a new version of its service for Nokia's Lumia line of Windows Phone 7 devices. The app allows owners to place free HD-quality phone calls and hold group-messaging sessions. Users can also send out free text and photo messages. To further commemorate its milestone, Viber announced th...

Power On Indicator

Image
Power On Indicator Circuit Diagram. Some types of electronic equipment do  not provide any indication that they are  actually on when they are switched on.  This situation can occur when the back-light of a display is switched off. In addition, the otherwise mandatory mains  power  indicator  is  not  required  with  equipment  that  consumes  less  than  10 watts. As a result, you can easily forget  to switch off such equipment. If you want  to know whether equipment is still drawing power from the mains, or if you want  to have an indication that the equipment  is switched on without having to modify the equipment, this circuit provides a solution.  One way to detect AC power current and  generate a reasonably constant voltage  independent of the load is to connect a  string of diodes wired in reverse parallel in series with one of the AC supply  leads. Here we sele...

Tips and Tricks on Audio Power Amplifier Circuit

Amplilfier power series from the beginning until now did not experience any changes. Some say this series is good, but the series was good fitting assembly and tested the results are not as we expected. The problem is usually treble is less subtle, less sound, sound breaking, buzz, middle of the field tested the bass sound is lost. so you do not have to believe what people 100%. The quality amplifier built-up would differ greatly with the amplifier assembly, a series can be the same but the quality will depend on who manufacture it. Here are a few tricks to try How to cope with a buzzing sound Power amplifiers are often used in the field blazer. This circuit is said said person is a bell assembly. But you do not immediately interested in this power, the circuit rather complicated and difficult to understand reflect the intelligence of people who first mendisainnya. In my opinion a great power is the power of simple, inexpensive, easily assembled and rational. You do not need to use exp...

Traffic Light 20 Chanel based on 74LSxx

Traffic Light 20 Chanel based on 74LSxx This view of the proposed traffic Light 20 Chane based only on family and 74LSxx IC 555 as clock source. It is a digital logic circuit. To construct the traffic light rangkaian Control requires no programming of microcontrollers. This page features a circuit that has twenty open collector outputs that turn on one at a time in a continuous sequence. The circuit make use of the family 74LSxx TTL integrated logic devices. The circuits are designed to drive light emitting diodes or low current and low voltage incandescent lamps, but can also lead to other charges of 80 milliamps. notes: The low output go in sequence from 1 - 0 and back to 1 -0 At the clock rate of the 555 timer c3 = 1uf to 10uf depending on the rate of change desured R2 (Variable resistor) in use to determine the timer

Power on Reminder with LED Lamp Circuit Diagram

D. Mohan Kumar is famous name in the circuits world. There are d's Power-on Reminder with LED Lamp Circuit Diagram creation. Many a times equipment at workstations remain switched on unnoticed. In this situation, these may get damaged due to overheating. Here is an add-on device for the workbench power supply that reminds you of the power-on status of the connected devices every hour or so by sounding a buzzer for around 20 seconds. It also has a white LED that provides good enough light to locate objects when mains fails. Power-on Reminder with LED Lamp Circuit Diagram    Fig. 1 shows the circuit of power-on reminder with LED lamp. Here, IC NE555  (IC1) is wired as an astable multivibrator, whose time period is set to around six minutes using resistors R1 and R2, preset VR1 and capacitor C1 for sounding the buzzer every hour. The output of IC1 is fed to the clock input of IC CD4017 (IC2). Capacitor C3 and resistor R3 provide power-on-reset pulse to IC2.When power to the ...

Laser Controlled ON OFF Switch Circuit Diagram

Image
This circuit is built around a 555 timer using very few components. Since the circuit is very simple, even a novice can easily build it and use it as a controlling device. A laser pointer, now easily available in the market, can be used to operate this device. This circuit has been tested in operational conditions from a distance of 500 meters and was found to work satisfactorily, though it can be controlled from still longer distances. Circuit diagram : Laser Controlled ON/OFF Switch Circuit Diagram Aiming (aligning) the laser beam exactly on to the LDR is a practical problem. The circuit is very useful in switching on/off a fan at night without getting off the bed. It can also be used for controlling a variety of other devices like radio or music system. The limitation is that the circuit is operational only in dark or dull lit environments. By focusing the laser beam on LDR1 the connected gadget can be activated through the relay, whereas by focusing laser beam on LDR2 we can switch...

Push to ON PUSH to OFF PLC program using NO NC and Coil

Image
This is  Interview question that every PLC programmer came across in his carrier. The Question is very tricky and shows the fundamentals (basic Ladder Laws) and depth of candidates knowledge. Today we are going to discuss PLC program for Push to ON device  and Push to Off Device. But the trick is that we have to use  only Normally open(NO) ,Normally Close (NC) contacts ,and Coil as output only(No timer,Counter, OSR ). In short there will be a single Push Button Input (X0) , and one Output (Y0). When user press Push button for 1st time output will be ON ,when user Presses Push Button for 2nd time output will be OFF. This is also called as "Push to On Push to Off " logic.Analogy can be provided with "TV" on and off Push Button.    We Can Break Sequence Like This : 1) Push Button Pressed (X0) ==> Output (Y0)On 2)Push Button Released (X0)==> Output (Y0) Latched 3)Push Button Pressed (X0)==> Output (Y0 )Off 4)Push Button Released (X0)==> Output (Y0) O...

Disclaimer: streamPowers.blogspot.com is not responsible for any damage caused to your devices due to any information found on this site.   Please use this knowledge at your own risk. About a year ago I came across an interesting article in Make Magazine about a guy who took his Fossil Wrist PDA and installed an Apple II emulator on it.   He was able to load many of the Apple II software titles and run them at regular speed.   The thought of having a fully functioning Apple computer on my wrist excited me enough to give it a try.      People that are attempting to do this should be familiar with the Palm OS as well as using jot or Graffiti 2 as an input method.   The Fossil Wrist PDA (now discontinued) features a tiny gray 160×160 pixel screen, the same number of pixels as most palm devices up to Palm III, with 16 shades of gray. The watch runs Palm OS 4.1 with its 66MHz processor and has a tiny stylus hidden in the watch clasp. It is able to ca...
