Pump Controller For Solar Hot Water System

This circuit optimises the operation of a solar hot water system. When the water in the solar collector is hotter than the storage tank, the pump runs. The circuit comprises two LM335Z temperature sensors, a comparator and Mosfet. Sensor 1 connects to the solar collector panel while Sensor 2 connects to the hot water panel. Each sensor includes a trimpot to allow adjustment of the output level. In practice, VR1 and VR2 are adjusted so that both Sensor 1 and Sensor 2 have the same output voltage when they are at the same temperature. The Sensor outputs are monitored using comparator IC1. When Sensor 1 produces a higher voltage than Sensor 2, which means that sensor 1 is at a higher temperature, pin 1 of IC1 goes high and drives the gate of Mosfet Q1. This in turn drives the pump motor. IC1 includes hysteresis so that the output does not oscillate when both sensors are producing a similar voltage. This burglar alarm system circuit is using a infrared proximity detector that triggers an alarm when the rays falling on its sensor are interrupted. It is different from others burglar alarm systems because is a very simple diy project and can offer you great satisfaction. The circuit of IR burglar alarm system comprises transmitter and receiver-cum-alarm sections. It works off 6V DC, 500mA uninterrupted supply and uses low-cost readily-available electronic components. Circuit Diagram Description The door latch alarm circuits are simple and effective and easy to construct. Normally the alarm is in de-activated mode by keeping the switch s1 in off state which can be done with a lock and key kind of switch. Number of doors can be guarded against the intrusion by keeping or connecting the reed switch in series fitted with the help of a magnet. The reed switch can be fitted in such an way that the magnet is fixed on the door, in normal conditions when the door is closed reed switch will be held close to the magnet and hence the reed switch is kept closed , when the door is opened the reed switch contact is opened , this triggers an SCR, the gate of an SCR is connected to its cathode through the reed switch as long as the switch is closed the SCR dose not fire but when the door is opened the SCR is fired supplying an voltage to the alarm circuit. This reliable and easy-to-operate electronic security system can be used in banks, factories, commercial establishments, houses, etc. The system comprises a monitoring system and several sensing zones. Each sensing zone is provided with a closed-loop switch known as sense switch. Sense switches are fixed onthedoors of premises under security and connected to the monitoring system. As long as the doors are closed, sense switches are also closed. The monitoring system can be installed at a convenient central place for easy operation. Fig. 1 shows the monitoring circuit only for zone 1 along with the common alarm circuit. For other zones, the monitoring circuit is identical, with only the prefixes of components changing as per zone number. Aerodynamic Parameter Monitoring and Reporting System

        Aerodynamic parameter estimation is an integral part of the Aerosystem design. This project develops an Aerodynamic Monitor for estimating Aerodynamic parameters like speed,location,altitude,Temperature,Pressure,Light etc. The system mainly  uses a GPS(Global Positioning System) that provides reliable location,altitude  and time information in all weather conditions. The main part of the system is LPC 2138 ARM-7 Microcontroller to which the  GPS is interfaced. The system uses Zigbee for wireless communication which is also interfaced to the Microcontroller. The GPS values are transmitted through the  Zigbee and exact position  can be viewed in the Google map. The temperature,Pressure and light parameters can also be determined by the sensors interfaced to the Microcontroller. The air parameters transmitted through Zigbee can be monitored in the user's PC.

Intruder Radio Alert System

Consider a situation where a burglar has entered your house and snapped the telephone wires, leaving you with no means of communication with the outside world. In such an emergency, you will find this intruder alarm to be very handy. It transmits a prerecorded emergency message repeatedly for reception by an FM receiver. The message containing address, geographical location, name, etc is recorded onto a chip. In the close fluid container where the fluid is injected into the container by means of a force pump, the pressure in the container could reach an unsafe level. The pressure operated control system is designed to limit the pressure in the container up to a safe level. Once the pressure exceeds the safe level the force pump should stop injecting the fluid in the container. One means of the force pump pressure up to the safe level is by means of pressure switch PS installed in the container. see figure (A). (A) Close container using the POCS. Mini Ups System

This circuit provides an uninterrupted  power supply (UPS) to operate 12V, 9V and 5V DC-powered instruments at up to 1A current. The backup battery takes up the load without spikes or delay when the mains power gets interrupted. It can also be used as a workbench power supply that provides 12V, 9V and 5V operating voltages. The circuit immediately disconnects the load when the battery voltage reduces to 10.5V to  prevent deep discharge of the battery.  LED1  indication  is  provided  to  show  the full charge voltage level of the battery. miniature white LEDs (LED2 and  LED3) are used as emergency lamps during power failure at night.
