Simple B C with Automatic Switch off Circuit Diagram

Image
This is a Simple Battery Charger with Automatic Switch-off Circuit Diagram . This lovely charger automatically switches off when your rechargeable batteries reach the full charge. The circuit comprises a bistable multivibrator wired around timer IC 555. The bistable output is fed to an ammeter (via diode D1) and pot meter VR1 before it goes to three Ni-Cd batteries that are to be charged. Battery Charger with Automatic Switch-off Circuit Diagram Normally, the full charge potential of an Ni-Cd cell is 1.2V. Trigger the bistable by pressing switch S1 and adjust potmeter VR1 for 60mA current through the ammeter. Now remove the ammeter and connect a jumper wire between its points ‘a’ and ‘b.’ Connect the positive output terminal of the batteries to the emitter of pnp transistor T1. The base of transistor T1 is held at 2.9V by adjusting potmeter VR2. The output of transistor T1 is inverted twice by npn transistors T2 and T3. Thus when the batteries are fully charged to 3×1.2V=3.6V, a voltag...

Laser Controlled ON OFF Switch Circuit Diagram

Image
This circuit is built around a 555 timer using very few components. Since the circuit is very simple, even a novice can easily build it and use it as a controlling device. A laser pointer, now easily available in the market, can be used to operate this device. This circuit has been tested in operational conditions from a distance of 500 meters and was found to work satisfactorily, though it can be controlled from still longer distances. Circuit diagram : Laser Controlled ON/OFF Switch Circuit Diagram Aiming (aligning) the laser beam exactly on to the LDR is a practical problem. The circuit is very useful in switching on/off a fan at night without getting off the bed. It can also be used for controlling a variety of other devices like radio or music system. The limitation is that the circuit is operational only in dark or dull lit environments. By focusing the laser beam on LDR1 the connected gadget can be activated through the relay, whereas by focusing laser beam on LDR2 we can switch...

Push to ON PUSH to OFF PLC program using NO NC and Coil

Image
This is  Interview question that every PLC programmer came across in his carrier. The Question is very tricky and shows the fundamentals (basic Ladder Laws) and depth of candidates knowledge. Today we are going to discuss PLC program for Push to ON device  and Push to Off Device. But the trick is that we have to use  only Normally open(NO) ,Normally Close (NC) contacts ,and Coil as output only(No timer,Counter, OSR ). In short there will be a single Push Button Input (X0) , and one Output (Y0). When user press Push button for 1st time output will be ON ,when user Presses Push Button for 2nd time output will be OFF. This is also called as "Push to On Push to Off " logic.Analogy can be provided with "TV" on and off Push Button.    We Can Break Sequence Like This : 1) Push Button Pressed (X0) ==> Output (Y0)On 2)Push Button Released (X0)==> Output (Y0) Latched 3)Push Button Pressed (X0)==> Output (Y0 )Off 4)Push Button Released (X0)==> Output (Y0) O...

Laptops Cord Stays off Your Lap with this Clip

Image
Someone just got this trick works on all the uni body Mac Books and helps keep your wires and cord under control. This clip is especially bendy if you are lounging on the sofa with the power-cord-side in towards the cushions. It keeps your MacBooks power cord under control with this trick and to stop it from tugging in you. Its built-in cable clip the one that keeps your cord wrapped around the power brick and clip it to the side of your laptops screen. The cable pulls it up off your lap and keeps it neat and tidy not to mention free of crazy fall across the keyboard loops.

Project of Car Head Lights Turn Off Circuit Diagram

Image
This circuit when setup in a car automatically turns off the head light after a preset time after the ignition switch is turned off.So you can walk out easily from the dark garage in the light of your car. Car Head Lights Turn Off Circuit Diagram Car Head Lights Turn Off  Circuit Diagram When the ignition switched on first the voltage from battery is fed to the relay through diode D1.When the ignition switch is turned off it produces a negative going pulse at the pin 2 that triggers the timer. The output of the IC goes high for the time set by R1  .This makes the transistor Q1 to conduct to energize the relay to drive the headlight. After the set time the light goes off. With the value of components used you can make a setting from 10 S to 60 S. Notes : Assemble the circuit on a good quality PCB or common board. Fit the potentiometer on somewhere on the dashboard so that  you can easily set the timing.
